Saying 'I do'

4pm arrival (don't be late!)*

Our ceremony will take place in The Orangery, which has lovely views out over The Heath*.

We would like our ceremony to be a relaxed, casual and fun celebration, and we will be asking you to participate!

Whether warming our rings, singing along to songs (see below), writing advice for us to take on into our married life (please bring a pen!), or willing us on as we (literally) try to tie the knot, we can't wait to share this ceremony with you!

It will be very child friendly, so don't worry if you're bringing a little monster (adult or child). We'd like to keep them entertained and get them involved too! Obviously if anyone is crying (or pooping) uncontrollably then we leave it to your discretion to take yourself to one of our other allocated spaces (or the loo!).

The only thing we're gonna be vaguely strict on is that we'd rather you didn't take photos or videos during the ceremony. We have an official photographer*** to do all that, and we will be sure to share everything with you after the day, which should leave you all free to focus on Dave and Pia (not that either us are raging drama queens...). Don't worry - there will be plenty of opportunity for selfies the rest of the day.

*This is a special request from the Bride, whose lateness is a thing of legend!

**Bewarned - it's a Saturday, Kenwood House won't yet be closed, and the Heath is a public way, so we hope you won't be distracted by any passers by and will join us in the fun of being part of a London wedding party (and help us focus on the task at hand!).

***The brilliant Zoe Barling who you will all meet and do plenty of silly posing for, please!

IF IN DOUBT CALL UPON  MUPPET WISDOM

We love the muppets. Well who doesn't.

There have been many a debate over who is Kermit and who Miss Piggy in this relationship.

The song we'd like you to join us in singing involves two entirely different characters.

Here's a youtube video of the original. Please have a look.

Learn the tune. Do some Muppets karaoke.

(Please note this is not the track that we will be singing too so don't get too reliant on it. Don't worry. You will have song lyrics!)

NB: Double click on this video and it will open in another window.
